Room with a view

Melbourne is known for its erratic weather but despite the four seasons in a day temperaments, it is still an amazing city to live in and I’m blessed to have this view where every morning brings an array of colours. I am convinced more than ever that God uses photoshop. Here are a few pictures I’ve taken from my apartment each morning for the past 3 days.

Photos were taken with iPhone 4s and edited for clarity but the colours were not manipulated.

  1. awesome colours – and I really like the grey one!

    1. Thanks Marina 🙂 Every morning brings a different surprise. I should take 1 each day for a month and see what it looks like in a montage.

      1. that would be great! I’d love to see it. And a good way to end 2011 by following December til the end 🙂 (NYE fireworks!!)

        1. Oh brilliant idea! But I just realized I’ll be in Sydney and New Zealand for 12 days. Aww….Maybe I can start with Nye 🙂 then work my way to the first month of 2012.

  2. Wow, what a view to wake up to everyday! =)

And to expand on your idea, it would be amazing if you could have a camera on a tripod at the same angle for a picture every day for a year, then converted into a video montage – imagine seeing the year as it passes and how the view and weather changes while the building gets constructed!

    1. Haha that’s a great idea but I do not have the patience for it! lol. Thanks for the suggestion tho. We’ll see how the one month goes 🙂

    2. That would be a great idea – the video montage!

  3. Great shots of a great view.

    1. Thank you 🙂 Nice blog you have going on! Particularly liked the Johnny Depp impersonator. Good stuff!

Got thought?
