A drive up Mornington

Often we hit the road not merely to reach a destination, but to rekindle the affair of moving, seeing and re-discovering. Last Saturday, I packed my sunglasses, camera lenses and followed two longtime friends up to Mornington Peninsula. We got lost on the curling road, went to a crafts market and settled down on a quiet beach where we shared conversations and cold stubs of beer. We climbed rocks, walked on wooden planks down to Cape Schanck, a picturesque rugged coastline fronting the waters of Bass Strait. 8 hours later, the girls and I returned to the bustling city with a slight tan, some lovely pictures and sand between our toes. But most importantly, we came back with memories, and that’s the best part of rekindled affairs.

  3. Thanks ladies! The first picture with the text was made with Phoster app for iPhone. Its one of my favorite apps 🙂

  4. Those photos are fantastic! If you don’t mind, can I know what camera did you use? 🙂

    1. Thanks Christine! Sure, they were taken with a Panasonic Lumix GF1 and filtered using an iPhone app called “PictureShow”.
