Longing

Scientists say that the stars we see in the sky are already dead. Their light has only taken so long to travel across the galaxy for us to witness their brief passing. But the Chinese say that the stars are part of a celestial river that separates two fated lovers, and when they cross the sky, even the moon hides her face in shame for their immaculate union. So time is not important. What is important is longing.
Till we meet again.
