Help Restore Japan by Steve Schiavello’s “created this poster inspired by James White of Signalnoise to help spread the word. I whipped up this poster very similar to his (I know not very creative) but its the cause that matters.”

Rojo foto design. “We have all been devastated by the news, images, and videos that we have seen coming out of Japan today. If you are like me, I am always trying to think about what I can do in these situations, using what gifts I have to help in some way (even if it is a seemingly small manner). So today I created an 11×17 poster. There have been a number of relief poster projects that have surfaced after major disasters (Hurricane Katrina, the Haiti Earthquake…), but I don’t know of anything for Japan yet. Here is what I am going to do. I will offer this poster for purchase, with all of the proceeds going to TEAM (the organization I work for) who has over 100 workers in Japan.” http://rojofotodesign.com/
Designer Nick Nawroth. “Feeling helpless just listening to the news about the quake, the resultant tsunami, and the nuclear reactor problems, I decided to do what very little I could: I made a poster.”—via www.nsquaredesign.com
Designed by Leukocyt. “Since I’ve got e-mails from people suggesting that my poster was created and is being sold only for my benefit, to gain some recognition I’ve decided to remove it from the store. I’ve also already returned money to the handful of souls who bought it in good faith. I thank those people for the trust and understanding. I know that at least 3 of them decided to buy James White’s poster instead (good choice). The poster will be used as a sign of my support for Japan and to raise awareness and you can still use the links I provide at the bottom of this post to donate money directly to Red Cross.”
Designed by Zac Neulieb. “In wake of the tragic earthquake in Japan, this poster is dedicated to the lives lost and those injured. Red Cross has set up a text donation method where if you text “REDCROSS” to the number 90999 you will donate $10 to the relief effort. The charge will appear on your next bill. I urge you to donate. Being across miles of ocean doesn’t mean we can’t help.”
Designed by Linda Yuki Nakanishi. “This poster represents the resilience of the Japanese people. The lotus symbolizes birth and rebirth, and the red lotus in particular represents love, compassion and passion (much of which is needed for the people of Japan).”—poster by Linda Yuki Nakanishi.
